Fleet Insulation Company was established as a family run business by Michael and Sandra Donnellan in 1979. Michael entered the industry in 1964 and served a four year apprenticeship arranged through the Thermal Insulation Contractors Association (TICA) and gained fifteen years experience prior to registering Fleet Insulation.

Fleet Insulation Company Limited was incorporated in 1981 to provide a comprehensive service in all types of thermal insulation and sheet metal work, soundproofing, fire protection and A/C ductwork cleaning.

In 1984 Fleet Insulation Company Limited obtained a licence from the Health & Safety Executive to work with and remove asbestos.  To date the company has an exemplary record for which they strive to maintain.

The company has been members of the Thermal Insulation Contractors Association (TICA) since 1987 and joined the Asbestos Control & Abatement Division (ACAD) when it was formed in 1994.

Fleet Insulation Company Limited retain a highly competent and experienced workforce, most of whom have been with us for many years, both sons Kieran and Andrew, joined the company in 1988 and 1992 respectively.  As members of the Insulation & Education Training Association (IETA) we support IETA’s training scheme and several of our operatives have completed apprenticeships and received City & Guild Certification.

Fleet Insulation Company Limited are proud of the fact that many of their clients have remained with them from the onset, having worked together on a wide range of projects; and continue to go from strength to strength having carried out both large and small contracts for Government Ministries and Departments, NHS Trusts, Local Authorities, Exhibition Centres, Hotels, Breweries, factories and service providers, working as far a field as Ascension and The Falkland Islands in the South Atlantic Ocean.
